This is the third time we’ve hosted our annual company outing here and no one’s complaining. It’s a little resort in San Juan, Batangas, a growing hotspot for day-tripping. Every year, they add a little something here and there to make your stay a little more comfortable… new curtains, more room fixtures, nicer day beds by the beach, and so on. It’s quaint, private, quiet and cheap. That’s all we really need.

The perfect way to spend a 3-day weekend…road trip, good friends, cocktails and the beach. Shrek (one of my oldest and closest friends from college) came back for a visit and the timing was perfect. Some of the “diamond girls” decided that it was a good reason to break away from our boring daily routines and meet up.
